Let's Talk Dirty! storm drain maintenance workshop

Storm drains DON’T lead into a water treatment facility, so whatever is put down them flows directly to creeks, streams, lakes and Bellingham Bay. If you have a storm drain on your property, it's your responsibility to keep it clear of debris, ensuring the catch basin inside can properly prevent pollution to our waterways. LEARN HOW TO: Crack open your storm drain safely; clean the catch basin quickly, cleanly, and easily; dispose of the contents properly; test for contaminants if you suspect there's a problem; block off your drain for car washes and pressure washing; and MORE! ***EVENT IS FREE, but space is limited!
